My Story
My journey into pharmacy started with a love story—in both life and science. In 2002, I met Nikki (my now wife and business partner) at the University of Texas at Austin. We met in Genetics class and officially bonded over Organic Chemistry (yes, really).
While I was immersed in cancer research, Nikki was working as a compounding technician at a local pharmacy. Watching her blend science with creativity to support real people sparked something in me. I realized I didn’t just want to study disease—I wanted to help people heal.
I loved the idea of tailoring medications to fit an individual’s biology, and I had a deep appreciation for the power of lab work. Pharmacy was the perfect combination: clinical impact, biochemical precision, and the art of compounding. It wasn’t long before I left the lab bench behind and committed to a path where I could connect with patients directly—and support them with both medication and education.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked in multiple Central Texas compounding pharmacies, refining my expertise in hormone health, dermatology, pain, pediatrics, and brain-based formulations. I currently serve as the pharmacist in charge (PIC) and GM of Austin Compounding Pharmacy, where I design protocols integrating pharmacogenomics, nutrigenomics, and custom drug design to improve outcomes.
What I’ve learned is this: true healing doesn’t come from one pill or one protocol. It comes from understanding the whole person—their chemistry, their history, and how their body responds under stress. That’s why partnering with Nikki at NeuroFit Nutrition was the natural evolution of my work. As a Pharmacist-Nutritionist team, we’re uniquely positioned to help patients optimize brain health by addressing both the biochemical imbalances and lifestyle factors that affect mood, focus, energy, and cognition.
Together, we help patients decode what’s really happening in their brains—and build practical, personalized paths to feeling better. It’s the chemistry of healing... with a human touch.
